LFR puts out house fire in north Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Crews responded to a house fire Friday afternoon in north Lincoln.
The fire was reported about 4:45 p.m. near 14th Street and Fletcher Avenue.
Smoke was coming out of a top-floor window when firefighters arrived, according to Lincoln Fire & Rescue.
Battalion Chief Jeremy Gegg said crews found a blaze in a bedroom and got it under control within 10 minutes.
He said everyone who was inside, as well as their three cats, made it out safely.
The cause of the fire was electrical, according to LFR.
The damage was estimated at $80,000.
