LFR puts out pickup fire in northeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Fire & Rescue put out a vehicle fire Monday evening in northeast Lincoln.

Firefighters responded to a home near 47th Street and Madison Avenue about 6:10 p.m.

A Channel 8 reporter at the scene saw a burned pickup truck in the driveway.

A neighbor said it sounded like a gunshot went off.

Crews were also spraying down another vehicle at the scene.

It’s not yet clear what sparked the blaze.
