LFR crews extinguish fire at auto shop in north Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several LFR crews battled flames Thursday morning at an auto shop in north Lincoln.

The fire was reported around 4:10 a.m. at a building near 20th and Holdrege streets.

A Channel 8 reporter at the scene saw smoke and fire coming from the roof.

LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said it took about 45 minutes to put out the blaze.

The cause of the fire and the damage amount are still being investigated.
