LFR responds to kitchen fire in north Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A kitchen fire broke out at a home in north Lincoln on Monday afternoon.

It happened about 3 p.m. at a townhome near 18th and Superior streets.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue said the blaze was contained to the kitchen.

The owner was not home when the fire started, according to LFR.

The cause and damage amount are still under investigation.
