Light Snow Tonight, Sunny and Warmer on Sunday
Mostly cloudy skies will continue into Saturday evening with temperatures falling to the upper teens by 8 p.m. Light snow showers are possible this evening, accumulations will not add up to much, but it will be enough to make travel challenging.

Here is a look at snow potential from our in-house model through Sunday morning. Most of us will likely see less than an inch, but an isolated area of 1-2″ of accumulation cannot be ruled out.
After spending last night with sub-zero overnight lows, temperatures tonight look closer to average, dropping to the middle teens.
Light snow showers early will make way to mostly cloudy skies in Lincoln through the early morning hours. Winds will remain breezy, gusting up to 25 miles per hour.
Highs in southeast Nebraska will be mild, reaching the 40s and 50s with winds eventually turning out of the northwest.
Plenty of sunshine on Sunday for the Capital City, with temperatures 10 degrees above normal for the first day of February.
We spend another day in the 40s on Groundhog’s Day before a quick trip back down to the upper 30s with a late chance of flurries on Tuesday. We turn up the heat during the back half of the work week with high temperatures in the 40s and 50s!
