LINCOLN, Neb. With around 100–thousand people expected to attend the Blue Angels Airshow… It’ll be a busy day! The Lincoln Air Show will begin at 11 AM on both days but gates will open from 9:30 AM to 5 PM.
Both admission and parking is free of charge. Several parking lots are located on the west side of Lincoln Air Park. These lots start at NW 36th Street and stretch out to NW 48th between West Mathis Street to West Cumings Street. Having trouble remembering where you parked? There’s a new app available to help people track their cars.
"That will help people get in and out. They can park their car and pin the site in the app so they know where their car is when they leave." Said General Daryl Bohac, Nebraska National Guard
The Air Park can be accessed by taking NW 48th from West O Street or I–80 from the south or Highway 34 from the north.
What you can’t bring…Food, beverages, coolers, backpacks, large umbrellas, tents, pets or drones. Also all weapons regardless of permits are prohibited.
What you can bring…Empty water bottles, cameras, and lawn chairs. Baby food and lifesaving medicine will also be permitted.
Remember everything you bring could be searched.
And, The Blue Angels will perform everyday, weather permitting. You can also leave and come back to the show as much as you like. In the case of bad weather some flying demonstrations may be delayed or postponed.
