LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The first day of the Guardians of Freedom Airshow was hosted at the Lincoln Airpark on Saturday.
The show features aircrafts from around the world and highlights their history.
The free show was open for anyone to attend from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The airshow is expecting between 200,000 and 300,000 visitors over the weekend.
One of the featured aircrafts in the show were the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
Jason Ball, the President of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, said it’s a great way to bring together people from around the world.
The show will continue on Sunday during the same hours.
