Lincoln and County officials say drones worthwhile

City and county officials say that six drones they’ve invested in for Lancaster County and Lincoln will be worthwhile.

They’ll be investing around $90,000 to help law enforcement and firefighting operations.

Those drones will be mainly used in search and rescue missions.

The city say each agency has their own drone because they need to use at the same time.

Lincoln Park’s and Recreation also uses a drone for photographing vegetation and helping develop land management plans.
