LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Here are the results of some of the high school football games in the Lincoln area on Friday night.

Lincoln East 31, Lincoln Southeast 28 2OT: Channel 8’s Game of the Week was a thrilling comeback win for the Spartans. They scored their first touchdown with just a few minutes left in the third quarter.

Columbus 24, Lincoln Southwest 21: The Discoverers found their way out of a halftime deficit to eke out a win.

 Waverly 42, Beatrice 0: The Vikings reduced the Orangemen to a pulp, holding Beatrice to just 14 total yards.

Seward 20, Lincoln Pius X 13: A trick play in the third quarter helped the Blue Jays break away in a close contest.

Lincoln Christian 20, Platteview 13: The Crusaders won a defensive battle, which was scoreless at halftime.
