Lincoln Bike Kitchen holds holiday bike drive
Do you have some bikes you don’t ride anymore?
The Lincoln Bike Kitchen is holding it’s holiday bike drive. It runs from November 15th through December 10th.
They’re hoping to collect around 150 bikes for kids, just in time for the holidays.
“When we bring in these bikes, we’re hoping there in really high quality and when I say high quality, we’re hoping that they’ve been in your garage and they’ve had some opportunity to be protected because those bikes are easy for us to do all of our safety checks and push them out the door in time for the holidays,” said Bike Kitchen President, Christine Cerny.
The bike kitchen is located near South 1st and Garfield. You can drop off bikes on Mondays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
