Lincoln car dealer announces expansion
Sid Dillon has announces expansion plans in east Lincoln market.
The company is adding a pre-owned car location at 5700 O St., at the corner of Cotner Boulevard and O Street. It is the former Carpenter Motors location.
According to Tim Pieper, general manager of Sid Dillon's Lincoln and Crete operations, the O St. location will be in addition to the company's current new and pre-owned dealership at 27th Street and Pine Lake Road.
“After experiencing incredible growth at our Lincoln and Crete dealerships throughout 2010, we realized lack of space was a recurring issue,” Pieper said. “This new location gives us the room we need to continue growing, and customers will be able to select from a greater variety of pre-owned vehicles in more than one part of town. Not only will customers have the benefit of the pre-owned selection coming from our Lincoln and Crete dealerships, but they'll also have access to the variety of pre-owned cars, trucks, SUVs and motorcycles from Sid Dillon's other Nebraska locations as well.”
The new location at Cotner Boulevard and O Street gives Sid Dillon a presence at one of Lincoln's busiest intersections. Pieper said the new location also enables the company to increase the selection of new and used cars, trucks and SUVs in-stock at all of its Lincoln and Crete dealerships.
Sid Dillon also operates car dealerships in Fremont, Blair, and Wahoo and motorcycle dealerships in Fremont and Omaha. Car brands available include Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Nissan, Hyundai, Saab, and Mazda. Motorcycle brands available include Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha.
