Lincoln City Libraries seeking applicants to fill vacant board position

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln City Libraries is looking to fill a vacant position on its board of trustees.
Members of the current board will review the applications and forward their recommendations to the city council, officials say.
The elected board member will serve a seven-year term that begins on Sept. 1 and lasts through Aug. 31, 2029.
Applicants must live in Lincoln and attend monthly board and committee meetings.
People can apply by sending a letter of interest and a Board Appointment Information Form to library@lincoln.ne.gov.
They can also mail the form to “Candidate Search,” Lincoln City Libraries, 136 S. 14 St., Lincoln, NE 68508.
