Lincoln crash sends two motorcyclists to hospital

Two motorcyclists were sent to the hospital after a crash Sunday afternoon.

Lincoln police were called to the scene around 2:50 near north 30th and Vine street.

Channel 8 Eyewitness News heard on the police scanner that a motorcycle was on fire, but it was put out before officials arrived.

LPD discovered two motorcycles hit a westbound vehicle. Another vehicle was involved and the other motorcycle had slid into that vehicle.

“There were two people that were transported to the hospital, they are in stable condition but I have no further information at this point,” Sgt. Ben Seeman said.

Both of the people taken to the hospital were on the motorcycles. The accident is still under investigation.

We will continue to bring you more updates as they become available.
