Lincoln crews battle difficult garage fire in below-freezing temperatures
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Fire & Rescue battled a difficult garage fire in below-freezing temperatures Thursday.
This all began just before 8 a.m., near 20th and Dudley Streets.
The temperature was hovering in the low 20s as crews fought flames and hot spots for about an hour.
There was limited access to hydrants, so LFR was forced to hook up its hoses in another area.
The garage is considered a total loss, as are the two motorcycles that were inside.
No word just yet on how much the damage will cost.
Officials say no one was injured and the flames did not spread to any other structures.
The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
