Lincoln daVinci’s hosts 39th annual free Easter dinner

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – DaVinci’s hosted its 39th annual free Easter dinner on Sunday.

Several volunteers from across Lincoln served free pasta, pizza and garlic cheese rolls at daVinci’s near 11th and G streets.

Hundreds of cupcakes were also donated to the Easter celebration.

“We love it,” said Kelly Knudson, the president of daVinci’s. “Great people. A lot of them are in need and some are just lonely and want a place that they can go and have fellowship and be with their family.”

The restaurant serves anywhere from 500 to 700 people every year at the dinner.
