Lincoln disc golf course ranks top-100 in the world
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A disc golf course in Lincoln received global recognition.
UDisc, a popular app for disc golfers, said Lincoln’s Beal Slough Golf Course is the 88th best course in the world.
UDisc said it was chosen for its difficulty due to dense woods, open terrain and slight elevation changes.
It is an 18-hole course with concrete trees and veteran targets. The course is also dog-friendly.
The city receives fundraising and help from the Lincoln Parks Foundation, public engagement, course development, volunteer planting and course clean-ups.
The Lincoln Flying Disc Club also dedicates time to the upkeep of the park.
