Lincoln Education Association agrees to a pay bump for teachers
The deal includes an across-the-board increase of $1,250 this coming school year

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Public Schools and the Lincoln Education Association have reached an agreement with teachers on a pay bump.
In the 2022-23 school year, a total compensation package increase of 4.11% will occur. The district agreed to raise contributions with health insurance, retirement, Social Security and an across-the-board bump of $1,250.
In the 2023-24 school year, a total compensation package increase of 3.65% will occur, leading to an across-the-board bump of $1,055.
Officials say this agreement addresses the valuable contributions teachers make for Lincoln Public Schools.
