LFR puts out fire at north Lincoln mobile home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire & Rescue was called to a fire in north Lincoln on Sunday around 12:30 p.m.
The fire took place at a mobile home near 37th Street and Cornhusker Highway. According to Capt. Andrew Evans, one woman was evacuated from the home without any injuries.
Officials said the fire likely started from a cigarette that fell onto an overstuffed chair that caught fire.
Officials said the woman who lived in the home refused medical care.
The woman and two dogs were relocated, according to LFR spokeswoman Nancy Crist.
