Lincoln Fire & Rescue ambulance involved in crash on O Street
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An ambulance was involved in a crash Thursday afternoon in east Lincoln.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue said the crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. at 48th and O streets.
The ambulance was transporting a patient at the time.
A Channel 8 reporter at the scene said the other vehicle involved was heavily damaged.
The ambulance had no visible damage.
LFR said another ambulance came to finish taking the patient to the hospital.
It’s not clear whether anyone was injured in the crash.
Southbound 48th was closed but has since reopened.
