Lincoln Flooding After Severe Storms Wednesday Night
The biggest problem in the capital city was widespread flooding.
The first reports of flash flooding came from the central and northern parts of Lincoln which experienced torrential rainfall .
Cornhusker Highway between 14th and 27th street was hit especially hard.
On the eastbound lanes, in its deepest parts, the water was halfway up to your knee.
Many vehicles were getting stuck and had to be pushed out as the rain continued to pour.
