Lincoln Flying Disc Club’s annual Ice Bowl

The Lincoln Flying Disc Golf club held their 27th annual Ice Bowl in an effort to raise money for the Lincoln Food Bank.
The group raised more than $500 for the Lincoln Food Bank.
“Disc golfers are a tough bunch; it’s a really good community and they love their sport and they love their fundraising.”
On average they have had 15 to 20 disc golfers show up for Ice Bowl, but this year they had 44 participants.
The group says they are proud of their members for braving the cold weather for a great cause.
“It’s really touching because it just shows how much people really care about the community and how much people really want to help the world and help people that are in need,” Lincoln Flying Disc Club Brelyn Griffith said.
