Lincoln High senior is first to sign for D1 acrobatics

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln High senior, Novalee Schmidt, is the first Nebraskan to ever sign for a Division 1 school in Acrobatics.  Schmidt signed her letter of intent to be a Baylor Bear on November 10th, 2021.

In Division 1, there are only four universities that offer acrobatics and tumbling, Schmidt hopes the sport continues to grow and may be available at Nebraska colleges someday.
