Lincoln Hispanic Festival shares culture through food and music at Lancaster County Fair
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Bailes De Nebraska hosted a Lincoln Hispanic Festival at the Lancaster County Fair on Sunday.
This festival highlighted the Hispanic and Latino cultures, and is a way for those at the fair to come together as a community.
Event D.J. Tania Castillo says the Latino culture in the Lincoln community is strong, and events such as these are “a good opportunity to bring a lot of different nationalities together and learn about different cultures.”
The festival offered traditional food, while dance and music were on display throughout the evening.
This allowed the Hispanic community to share their culture with everyone attending the fair and show them firsthand their heritage.
Event organizers and members work to share the history of these cultures and they want everyone to learn more.
