Lincoln, Neb. (KLKN) – The Eiseley Library hosted a board game event where families could come together to enjoy a variety of games both new and old.

Frequent library volunteer Shamara Fondal stopped by to enjoy a few of the games offered at the event.

Her favorite being a 300-piece puzzle that she said helps clear her mind from the stresses of daily life.

Library service supervisor Jill Disley said the library offers board game activities on a quarterly basis to give families a place to come together and spend quality time.

“Just the vast selection of games that we have, I think they get a chance to play some games that they’ve never seen before. On a cold day like today it gives families a chance to get out and do something together,” Disley said.  “It gets them into the library.”

The library wants you to know that all Lincolnites are welcome to participate in board game day events even if they don’t currently have a library card.
