Lincoln man accused of kidnapping, sexually assaulting woman twice
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was arrested Friday after kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman, police say.
Around 2:30 a.m., officers received a report that a 36-year-old woman had been assaulted by Travis Bohy, 39, of Lincoln.
Officers spoke with the victim, who police said had “severe bruising and swelling to her face,” along with cuts to her face and hand.
During an investigation, officers discovered Bohy had come to the victim’s home. He forced her into a bedroom before punching and sexually assaulting her, LPD said.
Bohy also grabbed a knife and threatened to kill her, according to police.
He then held her at knife point and forced her to get into a car. Police said he drove her to an unknown location near some farmland and sexually assaulted her again.
Bohy took her to his home and forced her to shower before taking her back home, LPD said.
Later on, Bohy was involved in a chase with the Nebraska State Patrol and taken into custody around 11:30 a.m. in Otoe.
He was arrested on suspicion of several felonies, including kidnapping, two counts of first-degree sexual assault and terroristic threats.
