LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man is facing several felony drug charges after a warrant was served Friday at his Lincoln home, court documents say.

Around 5:45 p.m., investigators were surveilling a home near North First Street and Cornhusker Highway as part of a narcotics investigation.

Police learned that the resident, 35-year-old Micheal Nevels, was selling meth, according to an arrest affidavit filed Monday.

Eventually, investigators saw Nevels leave the home and meet with another person in a nearby parking lot for a suspected drug sale, the affidavit says.

Officers approached Nevels’ vehicle and took him into custody.  During a search, they found 2.3 grams of meth and $176, police allege.

Investigators then served a search warrant at Nevel’s home and discovered 18.6 grams of meth in prepackaged bags, according to the affidavit.

Officers also found 96.7 grams of THC concentrate, a stolen Glock 43 handgun and items sometimes used in drug sales, the affidavit alleges.

Nevels was arrested on suspicion of several felonies, including possession of meth.

A Lancaster County judge set Nevel’s bond at $500,000, meaning he must pay $50,000 to be released from jail.
