LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man accused of sexually assaulting two girls is facing additional charges.

Court documents allege that in 2008, Medrano began abusing an 11-year-old girl.

The girl told police that she was sexually abused about four times a week over the course of three years.

An arrest affidavit says Medrano also assaulted a 14-year-old girl in 2017.

Medrano was arrested in July and is being held in jail on a $2 million bond.

A new court filing says that on Aug. 13, he tampered with a witness. The document does not detail the allegation.

Medrano’s preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 29.
