Lincoln man accused of sexually assaulting teen multiple times

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Prosecutors allege that a Lincoln man sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl on multiple occasions earlier this year.

Leroy McDonald, 28, is charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child in Lancaster County.

An arrest affidavit says McDonald brought the teen to his apartment for sex at least four times beginning at the end of March.

On two of those occasions, McDonald assaulted her before taking her to school, according to an investigator.

The investigator wrote that McDonald spoke to the teen’s father about the relationship, acknowledging that it was wrong, and later called Lincoln Police to turn himself in.

He was arrested on Monday.

His bail was set at 10% of $750,000.
