Lincoln man arrested after pointing handgun at teenagers, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was arrested Friday night after police say he pointed a handgun at a group of teenagers.
Just after 10:30 p.m., officers were sent to the area of Eastview Road and Moonlight Drive in east Lincoln.
The victims, all between the ages of 12 and 15 years old, said they were riding electric scooters and a bike while ding-dong-ditching in the area.
At one point, an older man started following the group of teens in a silver SUV.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, the man approached the group, pointed a handgun at them and threatened to kill them.
Officers searched the area and found 65-year-old Randall Burianek, who matched the description and was driving a silver SUV.
LPD said they searched his car and found a handgun.
Burianek was arrested and taken to the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
