Lincoln man arrested after waving shotgun outside People’s City Mission, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was arrested Friday after waving around a shotgun in public, police say.

Officers called the People’s City Mission Help Center near 70th and O streets just after 4 p.m.

When officers arrived, 38-year-old Joshua Johnson was standing on top of a car with a Western Field 20-gauge shotgun.

Police told Johnson to get down from the car and he was taken into custody.  There were no injuries.

Johnson was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats.
