Lincoln man charged with murder, nine other felonies in Sunday crime spree
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man faces 10 felony charges — including first-degree murder — in connection with a crime spree across Lincoln.
Timothy Washington, 41, of Lincoln was charged Wednesday in the deadly shooting of 34-year-old Philmoon Kuku and numerous other crimes.
His other counts include first-degree assault, second-degree assault and possession of a stolen firearm.

Police say that after shooting Kuku near 13th and E streets on Sunday, Washington fled from a traffic stop and crashed into a vehicle at 27th and Y streets.
Then he went into a nearby apartment and stabbed a man in the neck and chest, according to court documents.
Washington then stole the vehicle he crashed into, police said, then later hit a pedestrian and crashed into two more vehicles.
