Lincoln man cited after smoking marijuana at City Council meeting
LPD cited and released the man for possession of marijuana and failing to comply with the no-smoking sign.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was cited and released after he smoked a blunt at a City Council meeting on Monday, Lincoln Police say.
The 28-year-old man went to speak at the podium when he pulled out a marijuana cigarette, according to Lincoln Police. He then lit it and inhaled.
An LPD officer at the meeting escorted the man out of the building. LPD cited and released the man for possession of marijuana and failing to comply with the no-smoking sign.
