Lincoln man cited for stabbing another with a pitchfork

55-year-old Michael Staska is facing charges of second degree assault after allegedly stabbing a man with a pitchfork.
Police said Staska got into an argument with the 55-year-old victim around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
Staska asked the victim to leave his apartment near 11th and G street, but the victim told police Staska “shoo’d” him out of the apartment with a pitchfork when he apparently wasn’t leaving “fast enough.”
When police came they found the victim bleeding from the forearm. He also had injuries on his lower back that police said were consistent with pitchfork marks.
Staska was also arrested for using a weapon to commit a felony.
