LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was convicted Friday of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Arthur Parrott, 54, faces 10 years to life in prison and a fine of up to $10 million.

Over the span of a three-day trial, three people involved in selling drugs with Parrott between 2020 and 2022 testified in court.

Prosecutors also showed text messages sent between Parrott and one of the witnesses about drug transactions.

Other evidence included drugs found during the search of a witness’s hotel room, information from searches involving co-conspirators, a tracker placed on a co-conspirator’s vehicle and surveillance done by narcotics investigators.

Parrott is scheduled to be sentenced on April 24.
