Lincoln man found asleep in stolen vehicle, affidavit says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police recovered a stolen vehicle Saturday, and the thief was asleep inside, court documents say.
Around 3 a.m., a woman remotely started her Honda Pilot, which was left unlocked, near 20th and J streets.
About two minutes later, she realized the vehicle was missing, police said. The SUV’s estimated value is $17,000.
Later that day, officers located the vehicle in an alley near 26th and B streets.
Samuel Izaguirre, 22, was found sleeping inside the vehicle and arrested on suspicion of felony theft, according to an arrest affidavit.
A Lancaster County judge set his bond at $25,000. He must pay $2,500 to be released from jail.
