LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man will spend over a decade in federal prison for selling meth, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says.

Anthony Branch, 42, was sentenced Tuesday to 11 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of meth.

In October 2022, an informant bought meth four times from a person who met with Branch before making deliveries.

The informant bought a total of 142.38 grams of meth.  Testing found that at least 64 grams was pure meth.

On Oct. 28, 2022, authorities found Branch with 15 grams of meth and $480 in cash at a convenience store, the attorney’s office said.

Investigators then served a search warrant at his home and found 131 grams of meth and $3,850 in cash.

After his prison sentence, Branch will serve a five-year term of supervised release.  There is no parole in the federal system.
