Lincoln man gets at least 205 years in prison for sexual assault of three children

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was sentenced Thursday to more than 200 years in prison.

Maurice Thomas, 44, got 205 to 252 years in prison for multiple felony charges of sexual assault and child pornography.

Thomas was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child, third-degree sexual assault of a child, possession of child pornography and visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct of a minor.

In May 2023, the mother of three Lincoln girls flagged down a police officer to report that Thomas and Sahara Williams were abusing her children.

All the girls were 10 or younger at the time.

Williams, 20, is awaiting trial on charges of first-degree sexual assault of a child and third-degree sexual assault of a child.

Maurice Thomas, of Lincoln, was sentenced today for multiple convictions related to Sexual Assault of a Child and Child Pornography. Between the 5 charges, the Court sentenced Thomas to a total of 205 to 252 years of imprisonment.
