LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man will spend four years behind bars for having child porn, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said Thursday.

Justin Liekhus, 31, was sentenced Tuesday for possession of child pornography.

In 2021, the Nebraska State Patrol received information from Dropbox that a user was storing child pornography on their account.

The user’s IP address led investigators to Liekhus’ Lincoln home, the attorney’s office said.

On Oct. 6, authorities served a search warrant at his home and found a laptop and a memory card, both of which had child porn videos.

Liekhus admitted to investigators that he had been downloading child porn, according to the attorney’s office.

He was also ordered to serve a 10-year term of supervised release after his prison sentence.  There is no parole in the federal system.
