Court documents say on Aug. 4, Whitlock assaulted a girl at his home near 27th and Fair streets.
The victim was under 10 years old, according to police.
Whitlock was initially charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child.
In March, he pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of attempted first-degree sexual assault of a child.
His sentence was almost the maximum for that offense, which is 50 years.
