Lincoln man gets more than 12 years for meth, oxycodone possession

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man is going to prison for possession of meth and oxycodone pills.
Onasi Campos, 48, was sentenced Tuesday to 12½ years in federal prison with a five-year term of supervised release.
The Lincoln/Lancaster Drug Task Force began investigating Campos after finding out that he was involved in selling meth.
In March 2023, officers followed Campos from his Lincoln apartment to a gas station near Gretna.
Campos was there for a short time, then drove back to his apartment.
Law enforcement met Campos outside and told him they had a search warrant.
Police found 70 grams of meth, 90 oxycodone pills, scales and plastic bags used for packaging drugs.
