Lincoln man identified as victim of deadly crash in rural Seward County

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was killed last week in a crash on a rural road in Seward County, the sheriff’s office said Monday.

In a press release, the Seward County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 50-year-old Darrel Thompson from Lincoln.

The crash happened Thursday around 9:15 p.m. near 154th and Pioneers roads, just south of Pleasant Dale.

The sheriff’s office said Thompson was walking on the road when they were hit by a vehicle.

He was flown to a hospital, where he later died.
