Lincoln man killed in overnight crash in Iowa
A 41-year-old Lincoln man has died following a chase with law enforcement on Thursday night.
The crash happened just before 11:30 p.m. in Hamilton County, just north of Des Moines.
The Iowa State Patrol said Justin Meyering was eluding law enforcement when he failed to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed, causing his 2003 Ford Mustang to roll.
Meyering was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the accident report, Meyering was wearing a seat belt.
