Lincoln man killed in rollover accident
Officials say this was a single vehicle accident with only one person inside.
FREMONT, Neb. (KLKN) — A 39-year-old Lincoln man was killed in a single vehicle accident on Monday, December 28, 2020. Officials say Ryan J. Vance was traveling down a gravel road on County Road 24, about one mile north of County Road S, near Fremont.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said Vance was driving a pickup truck when he lost control, entered a ditch, rolled and struck an irrigation pivot. Vance was reportedly not wearing a seat-belt at the time of the accident and was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
