Lincoln man punched 69-year-old at bus stop, LPD says
The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious head injuries.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A 69-year-old man was punched multiple times at a bus stop near 11th and O Streets on Wednesday, Lincoln Police say.
According to witnesses, Mario Martinez, 40, approached the victim and asked if he wanted to live or die.
Lincoln Police say Martinez punched the victim’s head and chest. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious head injuries.
Martinez left the bus stop before officers arrived, but they found him nearby and identified him as the attacker.
Lincoln Police arrested Martinez on suspicion of first-degree assault.
