Lincoln man sentenced for sexually assaulting two 8-year-olds
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man will spend decades in prison for sexually assaulting two 8-year-old girls.
Auston Dormer, 30, was sentenced to 45 to 50 years in prison for first-degree sexual assault and to three years for third-degree sexual assault of a child.
Judge Kevin McManaman ordered that the sentences be served consecutively.
In July, an 8-year-old reported that Dormer had sexually assaulted her multiple times over the past year, according to court documents.
When interviewed by police, another 8-year-old said Dormer had touched her inappropriately.
The first-degree sexual assault charge was reduced from first-degree sexual assault of a child under a plea deal.
Dormer could be eligible for parole in 24 years.
He will be a registered sex offender for the rest of his life.
