Lincoln man sold up to a pound of meth a day, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Police arrested a man on Wednesday who they say has been dealing a large amount of methamphetamine in Lincoln.
Peter Jacobsson, 37, of Lincoln faces seven felony charges, including theft and four counts of possession of meth.
Court documents say Jacobsson sold meth to an undercover investigator three times in September.
On Wednesday, investigators with the Lincoln Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force saw him driving a stolen vehicle, according to an arrest affidavit.
They followed him to a house near 48th and Fremont streets.
Police surrounded the home and ordered Jacobsson to come out.
They took him into custody and searched the vehicle, where an affidavit says they found 41 grams of meth, a semiautomatic handgun without a serial number, 46 rounds of ammunition and drug paraphernalia.
Police said Jacobsson was selling up to a pound of meth each day for the last three to four months.
On Thursday, a judge set his bond at $750,000. Jacobsson must pay 10% of that to be released from jail.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 21.
