Lincoln man tells police he was shot, was just trying to get ride to airport

A Lincoln man was cited for obstructing government operations after called Lincoln Police claiming he was shot. 

LPD says five officers responded to a home near 25th and J Street where they found Christopher Walles, 25. 

Police say Walles lied about being shot because he needed a ride to the airport. 

He was not injured in any way. 

Instead of giving him a ride, police "educated" Walles on the ride-sharing apps Uber and Lyft.
