Lincoln man to stand trial in sexual assault of 10-year-old girl

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) —A judge ruled Tuesday that there is enough evidence to try a Lincoln man accused of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl.
Lancaster County Judge Thomas Zimmerman found probable cause against Mario Davila, 34, and sent his case to district court.
Davila is charged with third-degree sexual assault of a child.

In February, a 10-year-old girl reported that she was being assaulted by Davila.
Court documents say Davila would grab the girl’s hand and touch himself with it.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in Lancaster County District Court on June 25.
