Lincoln man tracks down his $15,000 camper days after it was stolen

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two people were arrested Wednesday after a Lincoln man found his stolen $15,000 camper at Branched Oak Lake.

That’s according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, which said this all began Sunday at the Emerald Mini Mart on West O Street. Campers and boats are typically stored behind the building.

The sheriff’s office said 41-year-old Jesse Lankford and 50-year-old Elizabeth Morey cut the victim’s lock and stole his camper.

He was able to track it down and alerted authorities.

Lankford and Morey are both charged with theft.
