LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was found guilty Friday of two child pornography charges, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says.

Richard Tripp, 71, will be sentenced for possessing and distributing child pornography on Nov. 9.  He could spend up to 60 years in prison.

The attorney’s office said a website reported that 38 suspected child porn images had been uploaded to the internet from Tripp’s home in Lincoln.

Tripp was living at the home with two registered sex offenders, according to the attorney’s office.

After a search of the home, investigators found over 1,400 child porn images on electronic devices. Some of the images were of toddlers and infants.

In 2007, Tripp was convicted of two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
